...Mughlai including the whacky “Hyderabadi Biryani” a gourmet’s mouthful delightsThe cuisine or the Hyderabad’s smothering palate includes the blend of Persian and Mughlai delicacies. The cuisines include mouth-watering spicy and tangy ingredients. The Mughlai cuisine has been inspired by Mughals who were very fond of spicy and rich preparation of delicacies including Biryani and kebabs. The preparation of Biryani includes the seasonal vegetables, flavoured rice and goat’s meat. It has therefore become traditional delicacy amongst the Muslims, which is also savoured by the non-vegetarians.
This was one of the examples of the iconic dish which is religiously savoured during several occasions by the local folks. The sweets which are distributed during the festivals are purely made of ghee. Another exclusive item is the “Irani Chai/ Tea” which is very popular amongst the people and are sold at most of the tea parlours round the street corners.
